The Regal Hollywood @ North I-85 in Chamblee, Georgia has closed.

Located about ten miles northeast of downtown Atlanta along I-85, the movie theater's last day of showing movies was January 5, 2025.

The theater originally opened May 19, 1999 as the Regal Cinemas Hollywood 24. Stadium seating, high-backed chairs, and digital sound in every auditorium were its main selling points. Regal was purchased in 2017 by Cineworld. That company filed for bankruptcy in September 2022 and has been closing many Regal locations ever since.

Where to Find Movies on the Big Screen

Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Movie Tavern - Tucker Cinema in Tucker, and the NCG - Brookhaven and the LOOK Dine-In Cinemas - Brookhaven in Atlanta. If you have Regal gift cards to use, the closest location is the Regal Perimeter Pointe, which is about a nine mile drive away.
