Nearly two years after closing, the Park Place Cinemas in Charleston, West Virginia will be opening again soon.

Located on Washington Street East between Laidley Street and Summers Street, the 11-screen movie theater closed in May 2024 as the Greater Huntington Park Place Stadium Cinemas. The news of the theater's reopening was reported in a news article published recently by MetroNews (see link below).

Where to Watch Movies on the Big Screen

Until it reopens, moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Underground Cinema in Charleston and the Marquee Cinemas - Southridge 12 in South Charleston.
