The AMC Classic Chesterfield 14 in Chesterfield, Missouri has closed.

Located in the largely vacant Chesterfield Mall on Clarkson Road and I-64, the last time we received showtimes for the theater was May 18, 2023. From what we could find, it appears that the mall is due to be demolished and replaced with a development the city is calling "Downtown Chesterfield." The city's 2020 Comprehensive Plan shows that a movie theater was part that plan, but we couldn't find any information about what will happen now that AMC has closed this location.

The theater originally opened March 31, 2006 as the AMC Chesterfield 14. In August 2019, it was known as the AMC Classic Chesterfield 14.

Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Marcus Chesterfield Cinema in Chesterfield, the B & B Creve Coeur West Olive 10 in Creve Coeur (which just reopened this week), and the B & B Wildwood 10 in Wildwood. If you have AMC gift cards to use, the closest locations are the AMC Creve Coeur 12 and the AMC Streets of St. Charles 8.
