The Cinemark movie theater in Chino, California has closed.

Located in the Chino Promenade shopping center on Philadelphia Street near Central Avenue, the Cinemark Movies 8 - Chino last provided us with showtimes on November 28, 2025. That would make its last day over the weekend, with the highest likelihood of the last day of November.

According to our records, the movie theater originally opened in 1991. At the time, it was across the street from the AMC Chino 10, and it outlasted the AMC location by almost 30 years.

Where to Watch Movies on the Big Screen

Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Harkins Chino Hills 18 in Chino Hills, the AMC Dine-in Montclair 12 & IMAX in Montclair, and the Regal Edwards Ontario Mountain Village in Ontario.
