The Studio Movie Grill - Colleyville in Colleyville, Texas is scheduled to open next month, according to a press release issued by Studio Movie Grill yesterday. It doesn't mention an exact date, but it does say that it will be open in time for the opening of X-Men: Days of Future Past which is released in theaters on May 23, 2014.

The theater was previously the B & B Colleyville Cinema Grille with IMAX, which closed about a month ago so that renovations could be done. When it opens, it will have eight screens and over 1,100 lounge-style seats.

"We are looking forward to offering not only the best in in-theater dining for local residents but also to becoming a true partner in the community and providing our new Colleyville neighborhood numerous economic opportunities," said Studio Movie Grill Founder/CEO, Brian Schultz.

The new theater is hiring, so if you are interested in joining their team, you can apply in person to General Manager Kirk Richard at the theater or on their web site.

The closest competitors are the Harkins Southlake Town Center 14 in Southlake, the Movie Tavern at Central Park in Bedford, and the Cinemark Tinseltown Grapevine Movies 17 in Grapevine. All are about 4-5 miles away.

Studio Movie Grill currently has 17 locations (including this one) in seven states.
