The BTM Dutch Square Cinema 14 in Columbia, South Carolina has closed.

Located in the Dutch Square shopping center south of I-20 and Broad River Road, the last time we received showtimes from the movie theater was April 18, 2025. The theater was operated by Scene One Entertainment (aka Bow Tie Management), which operates theaters in Colorado, New Hampshire, New York, and Virginia. This was the company's only South Carolina location.

Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Nickelodeon Theatre, the Regal Columbiana Grande, and the AMC Harbison 14.

Theater History

The movie theater originally opened December 19, 1997 as the General Cinema Dutch Square 14. It closed in August 2022 as the AMC Classic Dutch Square 14 and reopened in September 2022 by Bow Tie Management as the Bow Tie Dutch Square Cinema 14. Bow Tie Management became Scene One Entertainment in November 2023 and the theater was renamed to the BTM Dutch Square Cinema 14.
