The AMC Lennox Town Center 24 in Columbus, Ohio closed Monday, November 30, 2020. Signs posted on the theater's doors contained the following message:

THEATRE CLOSED

AMC Lennox Town Center 24 Has Permanently Closed

AMC Columbus 10

Located about five miles north of downtown Columbus just west of the Olentangy River and walking distance to The Ohio State University, the theater opened December 18, 1996. The advertisements for its Grand Opening mentioned its stadium seating with love-seats, cupholder armrests, and SDDS Sony Dynamic Digital Sound.

We found multiple news reports that Phoenix Theatres Entertainment, LLC is planning to reopen the theater, possibly before the Christmas holiday weekend. This would be the company's first Ohio location, but it has movie theaters in nine other states.

Until that happens, however, moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Wexner Center for the Arts, the Gateway Film Center, and the Grandview Theater & Drafthouse, all in Columbus. Of course, AMC would love for you to visit one of its locations instead. The AMC Columbus 10 is about six miles away to the west, near I-70 and Hilliard Rome Road.
