The Paragon Ocean Walk 10 in Daytona Beach, Florida has closed. According to a recent article published in the The Daytona Beach News-Journal, Satellite Cinemas will be taking over operation of the theater later this month:

The Paragon Ocean Walk 10 multiplex at Ocean Walk Shoppes closed its doors permanently at the end of the night Friday, but movies will soon be showing again at the oceanfront retail/entertainment complex.

A new theater operator, Satellite Cinemas, has already taken over the 4-story, 50,000-square-foot space with plans to extensively renovate and reopen by mid-September, according to Richard Wakeel, managing director for Ocean Walk Shoppes.

Until the theater reopens, moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Cobb Daytona Luxury 12, the Regal Ormond Beach Cinema 12, and the Regal Pavilion Stadium 14.
