The Denver Film Society has taken up residence in the Starz Filmcenter in Denver, Colorado since 2002, but they announced recently that they are planning to move to a new location at 2510 East Colfax Avenue. That location is the site of the former Neighborhood Flix Cinema & Cafe, which only lasted one year before it closed in 2008.

The grand opening is scheduled for November 4, 2010.

The Denver Film Festival will be held at the new location as well as the Starz Filmcenter, according to the press release. The Denver Film Society will also maintain their offices at the old location until their lease expires in 2011.

The new name of the theater on Colfax is the Sie FilmCenter.
