The Landmark Chez Artiste Theatre in Denver, Colorado has closed. Its last day of operation was August 8, 2024.

Located on East Amherst Avenue near South Colorado Boulevard in Denver's University Hills neighborhood about six miles southeast of downtown, the movie theater has been operated by Landmark Theatres since 1992. It originally opened in 1972 as the University Hills 2.

It's the second movie theater closed by Landmark Theatres in as many months. The Landmark Esquire Theatre in the Capitol Hill neighborhood closed in July. Landmark Theatres operates one last theater in Denver, the Landmark Mayan Theatre, as well as locations around the country.

Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Regal UA Colorado Center & IMAX in Denver and the AMC Dine-In Cherry Creek 8 in Denver and the The Landmark Greenwood Village in Greenwood Village.
