The iPic Theaters - Westchester in Dobbs Ferry, New York has closed. The theater's web site contains the following message regarding the theater's closure:
THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS AND SUPPORT
As part of our restructuring, we made the difficult decision to close our IPIC Westchester location, effective November 11. We will continue serving the same premium movie and dining experiences at our Fulton Market and Fort Lee locations.
The theater opened in April 2017 as the iPic Theater @ Rivertowns Square. At the time, iPic described the theater as "The Ultimate Night Out."
The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August 2019. The iPic web site contains a page of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) that may address questions that moviegoers have regarding the closure.
Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema - Yonkers and the Showcase Cinema de Lux Ridge Hill. The closest iPic location is the iPic Theaters - Hudson Lights, which is about twelve miles away in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
