The iPic Theatres at Bayshore Town Center in Glendale, Wisconsin is closing Thursday, March 8, 2018, according to several news reports. The last day we have a full set of showtimes for the theater is today, with some advance showtimes starting on the 16th, but those were likely in the system some time ago and will be removed shortly.

A message on the theater's web site reads as follows:

To our guests:

Effective Thursday, March 8, 2018 we will permanently close iPic Bayshore, including Big Daddy's Brew + Que and Pinstrikes.

For guests who have purchased seats for dates after March 7, we will refund the full price of those purchases. Please visit the Bayshore location or call 414-963-8779.

For any other inquiries, such as redeeming member points or gift cards, please email bayshore@ipic.com

We are honored to have served you and the Glendale community over the last decade.

The theater opened in December 2007, following a major redevelopment of the former enclosed-style Bayshore Mall into the open-air Bayshore Town Center. iPic Entertainment was one of the pioneers in the upscale dinner-and-a-movie trend that is now very prevalent around the country.

The article in the Milwaukee Business Journal mentions that the management company for Bayshore Town Center is working on replacing iPic with another theater operator, saying that they've done this before at another of their properties. I found that the company's Paseo Colorado development in Pasadena, California is the location of the ArcLight Pasadena, which was operated previously by Pacific Theatres. Could ArcLight be coming to Wisconsin? It already has two locations in the Chicago area, so the idea is not out of the question, but it's all speculation with no official word from anyone.

Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Fox Bay Cinema Grill, which is just a few blocks east of the Bayshore Town Center on Silver Spring Drive.
