The former Regal Greenville Grande in Greenville, North Carolina closed in September 2022 after parent company Cineworld filed for bankruptcy. Moviegoers in the area will be glad to know that the movie theater will be reopening soon as the Golden Ticket Cinemas - Greenville Grande 14.

Located on Greenville Boulevard SW just west of South Memorial Drive, the theater will be operated by Golden Ticket Cinemas, which operates nineteen locations around the country, including the Golden Ticket Cinemas - Golden Ticket Cinemas 7 in Washington, which is about 20 miles away.

We don't have an exact opening date yet, but the company's website is still promising 'December 2023' so they have a few more days to fulfill that commitment. According to multiple news reports (see listing below), the theater will include reserved seating in luxury recliners and "snuggle loungers," with food and beer options that will be delivered to your seat. An IMAX auditorium is planned to open some time in 2024.
