The Showcase Cinema de Lux Broadway in Hicksville, New York has closed.

As we reported earlier, the movie theater's last day of operation was January 5, 2025. Located in the Broadway Commons mall south of I-495 along Newbridge Road, the theater dates back to 1995 when it opened as the Broadway Multiplex Cinemas.

Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Regal Westbury in Westbury, the AMC Dine-In Levittown 10 in Levittown, and the AMC Raceway 10 in Westbury. The closest National Amusements location is the Showcase Cinema de Lux Farmingdale, which is about seven miles away.
