The TCL Chinese Theatres & IMAX in Hollywood, California is one of the most iconic movie theaters in the world! Likely best known for the hand and foot prints embedded into the concrete forecourt, the theater has had many names, including (but not limited to) Mann Grauman's Chinese Theatre, Grauman's Chinese Theatre, TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX.

The movie theater opened May 19, 1927, with a grand opening celebration the night before with a showing of The King of Kings. It was declared a historic-cultural landmark in 1968. USA Today listed it in 2005 as one of the ten great places to see a movie. The theater was sold to TCL in January 2013 and a massive renovation project was completed in September 2013. Countless movie premieres have been held at the Chinese Theatre, and movie stars continue to be immortalized in concrete for all to appreciate for years to come.
