The B & B Twin Drive-In in Independence, Missouri is located about thirteen miles east of Kansas City at the corner of Highway 291 and Kentucky Road. Dating back to 1965, the twin-screen operation is perched on a hill and has a distinctive entrance sign that is visible from the highway.
We visited the area in June 2021 and took a series of photos that you can see in the Photo Gallery for the theater.
Missouri-based B & B Theatres took over the theater from Globe Cinemas in 2014, but you wouldn't know it looking at the signage. That's OK, though, as any kind of corporate branding would likely spoil the view at night when it's lit up to its full potential.
While the summer drive-in season is beginning to wind down, it is playing Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour in the middle of October. To see what's playing and when, please visit the Showtimes page for the B & B Twin Drive-In.
