The AMC Classic Windsor Square 7 in Knoxville, Tennessee has closed.
Located in the Windsor Square shopping center at Kingston Pike and North Seven Oaks Drive, the seven-screen movie theater last provided showtimes updates on April 1, 2022.
The AMC website displays the following message:
AMC Classic Windsor Square 7 Has Permanently Closed
We hope to see you at our next nearest location: AMC Classic Knoxville 16
We could not find any news coverage of the theater's closure.
The theater originally opened in 1989 as the Cinemark Movies 7. It then became the Carmike Movies 7 - Windsor Square. It was renamed to the AMC Classic Windsor Square 7 in April 2017 after AMC acquired Carmike Cinemas.
Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the aforementioned AMC Classic Knoxville 16, the Regal Pinnacle ScreenX, 4DX, IMAX & RPX, and the Regal Downtown West Cinema 8 in Knoxville.
