The Regal West Town Mall 9 in Knoxville, Tennessee has closed in order for renovations to begin, which will bring Regal's Cinebarre concept to the location. WBIR 10News published a report recently that mentioned the changes coming to the movie theater:

Regal Entertainment Group announced Friday that its West Town Mall theatre will be converted into a Cinebarre theatre.

Cinebarre means it will feature a full restaurant and bar and it will serve scratch-made dishes, handcrafted cocktails, and beer on tap right to your seat. According to Regal, it will have a multi-level Cinebarcade with video games and pool tables.

“Knoxville is Regal's hometown and we are very excited to bring the Cinebarre concept to our loyal moviegoers making West Town Mall the best place to Eat. Drink. and Watch Movies!”

Until it reopens, moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Regal Downtown West Cinema 8 and the AMC Classic Knoxville 16.
