The Emagine Geneva Lakes in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin will be opening to the public at 10am on August 29, 2018. According to a recent article published in the Lake Geneva Regional News, the theater will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening with a charity event on August 28th:

Emagine Geneva Lakes theater is set to open Aug. 28 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening at 2565 State Highway 120 in the town of Lyons,

The new theater will start off with a charity event Aug. 28 and then open to the public starting at 10 a.m., Aug. 29 with such features as “Incredibles 2,” “Avengers: Infinity Wars,” “Deadpool 2,” “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” and “The Happytime Murders.”

This theater is the first Wisconsin location for Emagine Entertainment. The company expanded into Minnesota in 2016 by purchasing all eight Minnesota locations of the Muller Family Theatres chain.

Until the theater opens, the nearest movie theaters for moviegoers in the Lake Geneva area is the Geneva Theater in downtown Lake Geneva and the Plaza Theater in Burlington, which is about eight miles away.
