The Colony Square Cinema 7 in Lebanon, Ohio is being operated under new management. As part of the transition, the movie theater closed January 1, 2023 and it reopened today (January 5, 2023) as the Republic Theatres - Colony Square 7.

The theater is now being operated by Republic Theatres, which operates the Republic Theatres - Cinema 10 Middletown and four additional Ohio locations, and it has locations in Indiana and Kentucky as well.

The theater posted the following message on its Facebook page on December 26, 2022:

On January 1st, Republic Theaters will be taking over the ownership and operations of Colony Square Cinemas. We are a family & veteran owned company with 7 locations (soon to be 8!), in operation since 2003.

We will be closed briefly from January 1-4th to complete the transition, with plans to re-open our doors on Thursday January 5th!

A huge thank you to the current owners for their service to the community! We look forward to continuing to bring first run movie magic at affordable family prices to the Lebanon community!
