The Apple Tree Mall Cinema 12 in Londonderry, New Hampshire was going to be taken over by Digital Cinema Destinations Corp., per the announcement by that company in November, but its subsequent acquisition by Carmike Cinemas now means that Carmike is the new operator.

The transfer of ownership took place on September 26, 2014, according to a posting on the O'neil Cinemas Facebook page:

A note to our Friends from the O'neil Family:

We're saddened to announce that our O'neil Cinemas Londonderry location in the Apple Tree Mall will be changing hands. The decision was not an easy one, but was made in the best interest of our employees, customers, and business. As you know, our number one goal is to provide an excellent movie going experience to each and every customer, and we feel that focusing our efforts on our Epping, NH location is the right move at this point in time for everyone.

The changeover in operations to Carmike CInemas will take effect on Friday, September 26th 2014. Carmike Cinemas will continue to honor all O'neil Cinemas Gift Certificates, Loyalty Cards, VIP Tickets, and passes for up to 1 year following the operations change date.

It will now be known as the Carmike Londonderry 10. We're not sure what happened to two of the screens.

The theater was previously owned by O'neil Cinemas, which now has only the O'neil Cinemas - Brickyard Square 12 in Epping, New Hampshire.
