The Film Alley Longview in Longview, Texas will be opening later this year, replacing the former Regal Longview. The movie theater has been closed since June 2023.
Schulman Theatres will be operating the new theater, which operates movie theaters under the brands of Film Alley and City Lights across Texas. According to news reports (see below), the movie theater will be turned into an entertainment center that will include a 10-screen movie theater, duckpin bowling, an arcade, a restaurant, and a bar. Axe-throwing also was mentioned as a possibility. Four screens of the original 14 will be dedicated to those other amenities.
We don't know when the movie theater will open, as the latest news articles we could find were from March.
Until it opens, moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the AMC Longview 10 in Longview and the 4 Star Cinema in Kilgore.
