If you're planning a romantic dinner and a movie to celebrate Valentine's Day, but you're stuck on finding something to watch, the American Film Institute may be able to help you out.

They have compiled a list of what they believe are the "100 greatest love stories of all time" with their list that they call "100 Years... 100 Passions." The list was compiled back in 2005, so you won't see any recent favorites, but it's just a starting point and not a comprehensive list. Even though the AFI website admits that it's not the most diverse, I don't believe that they have published an update, so take that for what it's worth.
