The Venue Cinemas in Lynchburg, Virginia will open in November, according to a recent article published on WSET's web site:

A local family will be finalizing the sale on the old Carmike 8 building and will be turning it into a discount movie theater sooner than expected.

Ralph Harrison Jr., the owner of Venue Cinemas, says his family is no stranger to the movie scene. Harrison says he, his father and his brother have all been involved with Lynchburg movie theaters in one way or another.

And now, Harrison says the new discount movie theater, which was originally set to open sometime in December, will now launch in November. He says the company will be finalizing the sale in the next day or so.
