Marcus Theatres and Movie Tavern locations are offering some promotions for National Popcorn Day that we think are worth checking out.

According to the related page on Marcus Theatres' website (see the Read link below), they are offering the following specials on January 19, 2022 only:

• Free complimentary-sized popcorn
• 50% off their Ultimate Popcorn Tub (normally $25)
• Free Ultimate Popcorn Tub refills (normally $4.50)

Free complimentary-sized popcorn

This is a smaller-sized popcorn than their "Junior" size, served in a bag smaller than a standard brown lunch bag. This offer is limited to one per person, and you must order it at the theater (not online).

50% off their Ultimate Popcorn Tub (normally $25)

Marcus offers a reusable plastic tub that they call the Ultimate Popcorn Tub, which is approximately the size of an ice cream pail. It is normally sold for $25, so you can save $12.50 by purchasing one on Wednesday, which we think is a pretty good deal!

Free Ultimate Popcorn Tub refills (normally $4.50)

If you already have one of Marcus' Ultimate Popcorn Tubs, the refills are normally $4.50. On Wednesday only, that refill won't cost you anything.
