Marcus Theatres has debuted a moviegoing subscription service the company is calling Marcus Movie Club.

For $9.99 per month or $109.89 per year, members will receive the following benefits at any Marcus Theatres or Movie Tavern location:

• One movie credit per month (2D standard movie ticket)
• Free rollover of unused credits (as long as you are a member)
• 20% discount on all food and beverages (alcohol excluded)
• Additional tickets are $9.99
• No online ticketing convenience fees

The $9.99 credit appears on the member's account, so they can apply that credit to a ticket for a movie playing in any experience that would normally incur an additional fee over and above a standard 2D showing, such as the premium large format SuperScreen and UltraScreen auditoriums, and RealD3D, IMAX, 4DX or ScreenX showings.

All the perks included with the company's Magical Movie Rewards are included. This is a free rewards program that provides cardholders with 1 point per $1 spent. When 100 points are reached, a $5 reward can be redeemed at concession stands or in-house dining venues. Additional perks of the Magical Movie Rewards program include:

• Free refills on fountain drinks
• Free large popcorn on member's birthday
• Discounted Value Tuesday movie tickets & concessions
• Zero online service fees on Value Tuesday movie tickets
• Free invites to early movie screenings
• Exclusive special offers & personalized weekly emails
