Marcus Theatres and Movie Tavern locations will be showing movies nominated for Best Picture and Best Short Film at the Academy Awards coming up on March 15, 2026.

The movies will be shown individually March 4-15, 2026 and in two marathon days. Additionally, participating locations with bars will be showing the Oscars being awarded live at watch parties.

Best Picture Showcase - Individual Movie Showings

In what the company calls its "Best Picture Showcase," the nominees for Best motion picture of the year, Best live action short film, and Best animated short film will be shown at participating locations. The Best Picture nominees include:

• Bugonia
• F1: The Movie
• Frankenstein
• Hamnet
• Marty Supreme
• One Battle After Another
• The Secret Agent
• Sentimental Value
• Sinners
• Train Dreams

Tickets for each can be purchased individually, or they offer a "Best Picture Showcase Passport" which provides savings by picking four movies for $28 or all-access pass for $70 that also includes a 20% discount on concessions.

Best Picture Marathons - Movies from Morning to Night

If you have some free time, you can enjoy the movies back-to-back during two marathons being held March 7 and March 14. Tickets are $35 and include admission to the five movies showing that day and a 20% concession discount.

March 7 Marathon

Watch the Awards Ceremony Live at Watch Parties

You can watch the ceremony live with dozens of others at Marcus Theatres locations which have bars with big screen televisions and/or projection televisions. The events will include activities that include 1/2 off apps & taps, themed cocktails, an opening toast, a "You Pick the Winners" contest, and more.
