The B & B McPherson Cinema IV in McPherson, Kansas has a new owner. Prior to November 20, 2019, the theater was operated by B & B Theatres, which has locations in Kansas as well as seven other states across the country.

We couldn't find any mentions of the theater's closure, nor did the theater's Facebook page contain any information about closing. We reached out to the theater via its Facebook page, and they responded with information that the theater is now being operated by VIP Cinemas as the VIP McPherson 4. This is the first Kansas location for VIP Cinemas, which has locations in Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, and Missouri.

Moviegoers in the area that have B & B Theatres gift cards to use will need to visit the B & B Hutchinson Mall 8, which is about 25 miles away. Other nearby theaters include the Hutchinson Fox Theatre, which is also about 25 miles away.
