The B & B Park West 14 in Morrisville, North Carolina has closed.

Located near Chapel Hill Road and Morrisville Parkway in the Park West Village, the movie theater's last day of operation was January 4, 2026. It has been operated by Missouri-based B & B Theatres since 2021. At the time, the theater was the first North Carolina location for B & B Theatres and in the ensuing years, the company never added more locations in the state. It does have one location each in South Carolina and Virginia, as well as many others across the country.

The writing has been on the wall for the movie theater for more than two years. Casto Southeast Realty Services proposed changes in 2023 that involved demolishing the movie theater and two other businesses and replacing them with retail, office, and residential development. According to a recent news article in The News & Observer (see below), the theater is due to be replaced as part of a mixed-use development project at Park West Village. That project recently received approval for a zoning change.

Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the AMC Park Place 16 in Morrisville, as well as The Cary Theater and the Paragon Fenton in Cary.

Theater History

According to our records, the movie theater dates back to January 25, 2013, when it opened as the Stone Theatres - Park West 14 Cinemas (aka Stone Theatres - Park West Village 14 Cinemas). It became the B & B Park West 14 when B & B Theatres took over on May 6, 2021.
