The Chunky's Nashua Cinema & Pub in Nashua, New Hampshire will be closing May 9, 2024.

The news was announced on the theater's Facebook page recently:

It is with sadness that we announce the closing of our Nashua location on May 9, 2024. Gift cards, prepaid admissions and complimentary admissions will be accepted until May 9th in Nashua and can be used at our Manchester location. Our staff will be offered positions in Manchester.

It has been a pleasure to be a part of the Nashua community for over 17 years and we thank our customers and staff for their support.

The movie theater is operated by Chunky’s Cinema Pub, which also operates the Chunky's Pelham Cinema & Pub in Pelham and the Chunky's Manchester Cinema & Pub in Manchester. It announced the May 9 closure of the Pelham location as well, but the Manchester location appears to be staying open.

After it closes, moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the AMC Tyngsboro 12 in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts and the Apple Cinemas - Merrimack in Merrimack.
