Paramount Pictures has announced a series of changes to the release dates for several upcoming movies in its slate.

After many delays, Top Gun: Maverick was finally going to be released this summer in July, but now it's been delayed to November 19. They obviously didn't want to overload Tom Cruise fans, so they moved Mission: Impossible 7 to May 2022, and that caused Mission: Impossible 8 to get bumped to 2023.

Paramount's announcement also affected the release dates for Dungeons & Dragons, Jackass, and the G.I. Joe spin-off Snake Eyes. Revived from the forgotten attic is the Untitled Star Trek Sequel, which is now due to reach theaters in 2023.

Fortunately, A Quiet Place Part II appears to be keeping its May 28 release date... for now.
