The Stadium Cinemas in Payson, Utah is now under new management.

Located northeast of the W 800 S interchange with I-15, the movie theater is going to be operated by Wayfarer Theaters. This will be the company's second location, with the first being the Wayfarer Theaters - Highland Park in Highland Park, Illinois.

A New Chapter for Stadium Cinemas

After 26 wonderful years, we’re excited to share some big news. Stadium Cinemas is officially passing the torch to our dear friends at Wayfarer Theaters.

The best part? The theater will still operate under the same Stadium Cinemas name you’ve come to know and love. You can expect the same great movies, the same friendly service, and the same commitment to our community — just with a fresh team ready to carry it forward with some amazing ideas that will take your theater experience to the next level!

On behalf of Kris Phillips and Tim Johnson's family, Thank you for supporting us through the years. It’s been an honor to be part of your family movie nights, first dates, and countless memories. Here’s to many more magical moments at Stadium Cinemas!  

Even though the message says that it's keeping its name, the theater is now known on the company's website as the Wayfarer Theaters - Payson.
