The AMC Philadelphia Mills 14 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has closed. The last day we received showtimes for the movie theater was December 31, 2024.

Located in the Franklin Mall (formerly Philadelphia Mills Mall) north of I-95 and Woodhaven Road in Northeast Philadelphia, the movie theater has been showing movies for 27 years. It opened December 19, 1997 as the General Cinema Franklin Mills 14, Philadelphia's only movie theater with stadium seating. It was renamed to the AMC Franklin Mills Mall 14 when AMC bought General Cinema Corporation in 2002. In September 2022, it was known as the AMC Philadelphia Mills 14.

At some point, IMAX was added to this location, but we don't have much in the way of details. Since the screen count never changed, we assume that it was the result of a conversion of an existing auditorium. Based on press releases we could find for IMAX movie releases, this location did not show The Dark Knight: The IMAX Experience in July 2008, but it did show Prometheus: An IMAX Experience or Prometheus: An IMAX 3D Experience in June 2012.
