The Cinemark Town Centre Cinema 6 in Plainview, Texas has closed.
Located along I-27, north of Olton Road/Highway 70, the six screen movie theater's last day of operation was Thursday, December 7, 2023. We could not find any news reports or official statements that would explain why the theater closed, or if it might reopen again in the future.
The theater's closure causes a bit of a problem for moviegoers in the area, as the nearest theaters are more than 40 miles away in Lubbock. If you have Cinemark gift cards to use, the closest locations are the Cinemark Southwest Lubbock Movies 16 and XD and Cinemark Tinseltown Lubbock and XD.
