Posted on Monday, December 5th, 2016 3:00 PM

Book CoverWm Paul Young's 2008 book, The Shack, reached #1 on the New York Times bestseller list, and it's being made into a movie starring Sam Worthington as Mack Phillips, a father who suffers a great family tragedy, and spirals into a deep depression causing him to question his innermost beliefs. Facing a crisis of faith, he receives a mysterious letter urging him to an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Despite his doubts, Mack journeys to the shack and encounters an enigmatic trio of strangers led by a woman named Papa (Octavia Spencer). Through this meeting, Mack finds important truths that will transform his understanding of his tragedy and change his life forever.

The book is now available on mass-market paperback from retailers, such as our Gift Shop merchant Amazon.com. It's also available in other formats, such as hardcover, Kindle, and audiobook.

The movie based on the book will be released March 3rd, 2017. We have just added a trailer for the movie, as well as several photos. You can find them, and links to the official web site, on the Movie Information page for The Shack.
