Move over, Chucky, there's a new evil doll in town! This weekend's sole new wide release is M3GAN (Megan), which is the name of a new AI-powered doll that a brilliant roboticist at a toy company has created, and brings home to be a companion for her recently orphaned niece. As you can imagine, not everything goes well when Megan decides for herself what her programming should be. We've got clips from the movie as well as the trailer, so be sure to check them out!

The other new release this weekend isn't in as many theaters, but when it's Nicolas Cage in his first-ever western, you may want to find the closest theater anyway! In The Old Way, Cage plays a gunslinger turned family man who teams up with his young daughter to defend his family from an outlaw gang. Something tells me this isn't going to be a Christmas redemption movie like he did with Tea Leoni back in 2000...
