Regal parent company Cineworld announced recently that it would be closing 39 locations across the United States. Cineworld filed for bankruptcy in September 2022 and has been closing locations in various locations.

Some of the closures may happen as soon as February, but we suspect that this announcement might be a negotiating tactic for the company to use as leverage against the landlords of the buildings housing the theaters. If that is the case, some of the theaters on the list below may not close as a result of this announcement.
