Streaming device manufacturer Roku has released a new version of its flagship product, the Roku Ultra, which is available now.
The new Roku Ultra has an all-new quad core processor, which the company says delivers 30% faster performance and "seamless navigation" and quicker app launches. It also features Wi-Fi 6 for faster networking and a second-edition of their Voice Remote Pro.
The Ultra supports 4K video resolutions with HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos and DTS Digital Surround™ (pass-through) sound. It connects to displays with its HDMI 2.1b port. In addition to its new and improved Wi-Fi connection, an ethernet port is also available. Bluetooth support means that you can connect your favorite headphones for private listening.
The rechargeable Voice Remote Pro has backlit buttons, hands-free voice control, and a lost remote finder so you can locate it when embedded into the depths of your couch cushions. When most products are starting to eliminate extras, the Roku Ultra comes with a Premium high-speed HDMI cable and a USB-C charging cable for the remote. The device can be controlled via the free Roku mobile app.
