The Regal UA Olympus Pointe in Roseville, California closed earlier this month, but moviegoers in the area will be happy to know that it is reopening soon under new management.

Located northeast of downtown Sacramento on the Eureka Road interchange with I-80, the movie theater's last day of operation was March 9, 2025. Fortunately, the news at the time that a new operator was planning to reopen the theater later this month appears to be true.

According to the website for Cinema West, the Cinema West - Olympus Pointe will be reopening Friday, March 28, 2025. The company operates nineteen locations in California and Idaho.

A message posted to the company's Instagram account confirmed the March 28 date for the theater's Grand Opening. It mentions the following new features:

• A premium large format Giant Screen Laser with Dolby Atmos immersive sound
• "Elevated" food and beverage offerings
• "King-sized" luxury recliners

Until then, moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Cinemark Roseville Galleria Mall and XD in Roseville, and the Cinemark Century Blue Oaks Theatres and XD and the Studio Movie Grill - Rocklin in Rocklin.
