The Metropolitan Fiesta 5 Theatre in Santa Barbara, California has closed. Its last day of operation was September 13, 2024.
Located on State Street between E Canon Perdido Street and E Carrillo Street, the movie theater was operated by Metropolitan Theatres Corporation. The company filed for bankruptcy in February, and continues to operate twelve locations in California and Colorado.
Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Metropolitan Paseo Nuevo Cinemas, the Metropolitan Metro 4 Theatre, and the Metropolitan Arlington Theatre.
