Springfield, MO: Closed Since January 2023, Downtown Movie Theater Plans Reopening in November

Downtown Springfield, Missouri hasn't had a movie theater since the Regal College Station closed in January 2023. However, moviegoers will be happy to know that the theater is planning to reopen in November.

The 14-screen College Station Theater is tentatively scheduled to reopen November 22, 2024, just in time for the release of Gladiator II. The news comes in an article published recently in the Springfield Daily Citizen (see list below).

Showtimes

To see what's playing and when, keep an eye on the Showtimes page for the College Station Theater.

Until it opens, of course, moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Moxie Cinema and the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema - Springfield.
