If you're the type of person to bolt out of your seat as soon as the credits start rolling, you may want to stay sitting for the entire running time of X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
From the sounds of reports we've been hearing, there is more footage during the credits and a final sequence after the credits are done rolling. I've also heard reports that there are multiple versions of the final scene, but that is not confirmed.
Many movies have done this type of thing, and since I'm the kind of person that watches movies "from mountain to mountain" I've had the chance to enjoy what the filmmakers have provided. The credits sequences of most Pixar movies are not to be missed, and the end of Ferris Bueller's Day Off even had Ferris come out and deliver a final message to anyone still left watching.
The first time I remember seeing something like this was also the best used to advance the enjoyment of the movie. At the end of Young Sherlock Holmes in 1985 showed a man in a horse-drawn sleigh throughout the end credits. The credits end as the sleigh pulls up to an inn and the clerk at the counter asks the man to sign in. What he signs and who he is was the perfect way to end the movie and was in keeping perfectly with the storyline. Since then, I rarely miss the full end credits.
