The Cinemagic movie theater in Sturbridge, Massachusetts hasn't shown movies since Zyacorp Inc. closed all its locations in February 2021.
Located in the Center at Hobbs Brook shopping center on Charlton Road near I-90 and I-84, the Cinemagic in Sturbridge will be replaced later this year by the Entertainment Cinemas - Sturbridge Luxury Cinemas. News reports (see below) mention that the newly renovated theater will have luxury seating and in-theater dining service. It is hoping to open in late September or early October.
The theater will be operated by Entertainment Cinemas, which has four locations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. A fifth location in Maine will be opening soon.
Where to See Movies in the Area
Until it opens, moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Blackstone Valley 14: Cinema de Lux in Millbury and the Cinema-Worcester in Worcester.
