The Regal Governor's Square in Tallahassee, Florida has closed.
Located northeast of Apalachee Parkway and Magnolia Drive, the twelve-screen movie theater's last day of operation was December 1, 2024.
It originally opened May 17, 1996 as the Movies at Governor's Square (operated by Eastern Federal Theatres). Regal acquired Eastern Federal Theatres in 2005 and the theater was renamed the Regal Governor's Square Stadium 12. Cineworld acquired Regal Entertainment Group in 2017. The company filed for bankruptcy in September 2022 and has been closing many locations since.
Where to Watch Movies
Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the CMX Fallschase and the AMC Tallahassee 20. If you have Regal gift cards to use, the closest location is the Regal Regency Panama City, which is almost 90 miles away.
