"Terminator Genisys" Coming to Blu-ray November 10, 2015

Posted on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015 4:07 PM

Terminator Genisys will be available on Blu-ray on November 10, 2015, according to a press release issued recently by Paramount Home Entertainment. The movie opened in theaters July 1st, and stayed in the top 10 box office rankings for four weeks.

In this continuation of the Terminator franchise, Kyle Reese is sent back to the past to save Sarah Connor, but unexpected events have altered the past and threaten the future in a much different way. Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises his role as the iconic T-800, but this isn't a remake of the 1984 original (The Terminator) or its sequels. For the most part, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines and Terminator Salvation have been forgotten, but you will recognize some elements from Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Both the 2D and 3D Blu-ray Combo Packs feature a Dolby Atmos soundtrack for immersive sound, as well as bonus content that includes interviews and an in-depth look at the visual effects and how they recreated some of the scenes from the original movie.
