A new 30th Anniversary Signature Collection release of The Little Mermaid, is coming to Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, and streaming services in February, according to a press release issued recently by Walt Disney Studios.
The animated classic originally came out in theaters in 1989, and has been released on every home video format since. Disney likes to pull its titles from time to time, so it's not widely available on Blu-ray or DVD right now. In honor of the movie's 30th anniversary, the new Signature Collection editions will have new bonus features as well as a sing-along mode. The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray version will have Dolby Atmos immersive audio.
The Signature Collection editions will be available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand on February 26, 2019. It will be available on streaming services on February 12th.
