Theaters Showing "Dark Knight" Marathon Before the July 20th Opening of "The Dark Knight Rises"

The Dark Knight Rises is one of the summer's most anticipated movies, and it opens in theaters on July 20, 2012. The movie is the conclusion of director Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy that started with Batman Begins in 2005 and was followed in 2008 by The Dark Knight.

To celebrate the end of the series, many theaters around the country are doing a marathon of all three movies starting on the night before, and ending with a midnight-ish showing of The Dark Knight Rises.

Batman Begins The Dark Knight The Dark Knight Rises

As with many of these kinds of events, there will most likely be multiple entries by the time of release, and some theaters might do a different combination of the movies, so here are the entries that we know of so far:

As we see any more added, we'll update the list above.

Tickets are on sale as of today for many theaters, so check out each of the Showtimes pages for the entries above to see where you can catch what will most likely go down as one of the best trilogies in movie history!

Electronic Ticketing GraphicIf you can't make it to a theater showing the marathon, you could always buy Batman Begins and The Dark Knight on Blu-ray and do a marathon of your own in the coming weeks.

Don't forget to order your tickets for The Dark Knight Rises or The Dark Knight Rises: The IMAX Experience in advance! These tickets are going fast, and if you want to have a chance of seeing it on opening weekend, this is one movie that advance tickets are certainly a necessity!

Thgat is very cool to sit though the first two Dark Kniught movies before you get to the third. the Second Dak Knight movie is the best of the two.

I agree. I liked the second one better than the first, but they're both pretty good! My hope is that the third will be up to the task and be a good finale for the trilogy.
