The movie theater in the Tiffen Mall in Tiffin, Ohio has closed. The last day that the Cinemark Tiffin Mall 8 showed movies was August 26, 2024.

According to an article published recently in The Advertiser-Tribune (see list below), Cinemark decided not to renew its lease. The article also contained good news for people in the area, which is that a group of investors bought the theater and will reopen it as a movie theater and an event center called Seneca Starvue: Theater and Events. They are hoping to reopen in mid-to-late September.

Until it reopens, moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Field of Dreams Drive-In - Tiffin, the Paramount Cinemas in Fremont, and the AMC Classic Findlay 12 in Findlay.
