Photos from the movie

A trailer and new photos have been added for Dune, which opens in theaters December 18, 2020.

Dune is the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet’s exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence--a commodity capable of unlocking humanity’s greatest potential--only those who can conquer their fear will survive.

Based on Frank Herbert's science fiction novel of the same name, this is the second attempt at bringing the story to the big screen. David Lynch directed the 1984 Dune, and while it garnered an Academy Award nomination for Best Sound, it wasn't very approachable, and didn't capture the hearts and wallets of the moviegoing public.

This movie is directed by Denis Villeneuve, who has helmed such recent movies as Blade Runner 2049, Arrival, and Sicario. That alone makes this a movie of interest, and then you can add in a cast that includes Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Charlotte Rampling, Jason Momoa, Javier Bardem, and others.

We now have more than two dozen photos for the movie, which you can see by visiting the Photo Gallery page, and the trailer can be seen below:
