The B & B Vicksburg Mall 6 in Vicksburg, Mississippi has closed. Its last day of operation was February 26, 2025.

The movie theater was located in the Vicksburg Mall along Pemberton Square Boulevard near I20 and Route 61 and was operated by B & B Theatres. The company has more than 50 locations around the country, including the B & B Ridgeland Northpark 14 in Ridgeland.

The theater's closure was announced on its Facebook page:

B&B Theatres has announced that its Vicksburg location will close at the end of business on February 26, 2025. While this decision was not made lightly, the company remains committed to ensuring that all of its locations align with brand standards and long-term forecast.

"At B&B Theatres, we are constantly evaluating our circuit to ensure that every location reflects the experience and quality our guests expect," said B&B Theatres President Brock Bagby. "While it is always difficult to say goodbye to a location, we remain focused on our broader strategy of growth, innovation, and reinvestment in the future of our company, both independently and alongside partners that share that strategic vision."

Theater History

According to our records, the theater originally opened in 1985 as the Pemberton Square Cinema 4 (Gulf States Theatres). It later became the Vicksburg Mall 4, which closed in December 2006. It was re-opened by Wilcox Theatres in November 2008 and named the Pemberton Square 4. At some point, it became known as the Vicksburg Mall 6. It closed in 2015, but was reopened by B & B Theatres as the B & B Theatres Vicksburg Mall 6 in late 2015.
